Boeing Washington chiming in that the investigation of carelessly handled nuclear weapons somehow shows the Air Force rigs its bidding. I read a few things about the controversy when the AF chose EU-built refueling tanker design over the inferior Boeing offering. Boeing designed a less capable aircraft than the Air Force had specified and that was all there was to it. The smell of pay-back hangs heavily in the D.C. air and will not blow away. It takes a lot more than one competent secretary of defense to unravel the tentacles of the military imperial complex from our congress.
